Preventive Care

Regularly scheduled preventive dental care is important part of maintaining your oral health—and keeping you feeling your best overall. We offer extended appointment hours so you can find a time that’s convenient for you.

Our hygienists will clean your teeth, look for any signs of problems, and educate you about the best way to keep your teeth and gums healthy. We even offer discounts on electric toothbrushes to help you get the best brushing possible!

Gum Disease

If left untreated, gum disease—also called periodontal disease—can cause you to lose bone in your jaw and eventually lose teeth. Gum disease can also affect your entire health—research is starting to show that it may be linked to problems such as diabetes, heart disease and stroke.

We diagnose and treat gum disease in our office. We may suggest the use of Arestin, a local antibiotic that has been shown to be very effective in halting the progression of periodontal disease.
